

Those cute benches at the end of the bed look so trendy and decorative. Declutter any plants that look like they are on their way out. Plants bring so much life into a room unless they are dead or dying. If you have the ability to put overhead lighting or sconces on the wall you can declutter all of the extra lamps. Too many small lamps can make a room look cluttered. Small rugs can make a room look cluttered and become a tripping hazard.

I love rugs more than anyone, but make sure it is the right size for your bedroom.

Too many dressers can make a room feel small and cluttered. If you can’t fit all the clothes in the closet then they are normally stuffed in drawers. Jackets take up a lot of closet space which can make it hard to fit all of your clothes into the closet. Try to store your shoes in your closet if possible, this will make your room look very clean and organized. Go through and only keep the shoes you wear. Shoes all over the floor can make a room look messy and cluttered.
